ATTRACTIONS Manchester Cathedral Located on Victorian street, this impressive medieval cathedral is indisputably the finest representative of Perpendicular Gothic architecture. The art collection inside is striking, and you can also visit the Visitor Center's hi-tech exhibition nearby as well. Chinatown The city's Chinatown is the also the country's largest. Recently established following the redevelopment of the cotton warehouses on the premise in the 1970s, Manchester's Chinatown will entice every visitor with its colorful oriental establishments and exuberant Chinese celebrations. Manchester Town Hall The incredibly stunning Gothic architecture of the town hall was actually designed and built in the 1800's, and it houses many marvellous paintings, including the murals that portray the Victorian concepts such as science, education, trade and industry. Cheschire Ice Cream Farm The famous dairy farm allows visitors to study about its routine up close, including the milking of the cows and the chance to sample over 30 flavors of its home-made ice cream. Once here, you can also pet animals in a pets corner or visit the cheese-making parlor. Chester Zoo Over 5000 animals reside in this gigantic zoo which is also one of the best in Europe. It encompass an area of around 110 acres where some of the popularattractions include the children's farm, tigers, lions, elephants, chimpanzees and penguins. Manchester United Museum and Trophy Room Visitor to Britain's first football (soccer) museum will get a chance to learn about the country's biggest football team's history and projects through their photographs and interactive exhibitions.
